AGS 798RR is an early Maturity Group VIII, glyphosate-resistant line. It is similar in maturity to AGS 828RR and AGS Woodruff. It has purple flowers, tawny pubescence, and tan pod walls. The seeds of AGS 798RR are yellow with shiny seed coats and black hila. AGS 798RR. is resistant to southern root-knot nematode. It is also resistant to frogeye leaf spot and southern stem canker.
