AGS 738RR is an early Maturity Group VII, glyphosate-resistant variety. It is similar in maturity to AGS 758RR and several days earlier than USG 7732nRR. It has purple flowers, tawny pubescence, and tan pod walls. The seeds of AGS 738RR are yellow with shiny seed coats and black hila. AGS 738RR is resistant to southern and Javanese root-knot nematodes and soybean cyst nematode (R3). It is also resistant to southern stem canker.
